The company we're building

Six principal roles lead the story, supported by a flexible ensemble that becomes villagers, students, old soldiers, ghosts — and the Headless Horseman himself. Most ensemble actors will cover several roles or scene assignments through the evening.

These roles are grouped for ensemble casting. Most ensemble actors will cover several moments across the story, from named features to town scenes and supernatural sequences.

Ensemble assignments may combine multiple listed roles, and casting needs may shift as the production takes shape.

Movement & puppetry

We're seeking strong movers, and puppetry experience is a plus for the Horseman, Gunpowder, and the Hessian — but no puppetry background is required to audition.
